Dykes Library will close this afternoon at 5PM due to inclement weather.  Stay safe out there!

Winter Break Library Hours

Here is a cheery reminder of The A. R. Dykes Library Winter Break hours:

December 23: Close at 5 p.m.
December 24: Close at noon
December 25-28: Closed
December 29, 30 and 31: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
January 1-4: Closed

Regular hours and services resume January 5th at 6 a.m.

Labor Day 2014 Closure

Please note the hours of operation for A.R. Dykes Library in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

Labor Day: Open all weekend, closed Sunday at 10:30pm and Monday, all day.

Aug. 31st, Sunday, Close at 10:30pm to all patrons

Sept. 1st, Monday, Closed to all patrons 

Sept. 2nd, Re-open at 6 a.m. and 24/7 hours resume

Dykes Library closing 3PM Monday, December 31

Dykes Library will close this afternoon at 3PM due to inclement weather and the holiday.
We will reopen Wednesday, January 2 with regular hours of 7:30AM - 11:00PM.

Library Hours for Independence Day Holiday

In observance of Independence Day, the library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th.

We will reopen Thursday, July 5th, at 7:30 a.m.

Library hours

Please be aware that after Friday, May 11th, the library's hours will be modified for 2 weeks due to the break time between spring and summer semesters.  Hours will be the following:

• Closed Saturdays and Sundays until June
• 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday
• Memorial Day, May 28th:  open 6pm - 11pm

Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 29th.

Library Hours this Monday

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the library will be open from 6-11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16 for KUMC patrons only.

We will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Hours for the New Year's Holiday

Please note the library's modified hours for the New Year's holiday below:

• Friday, Dec. 30th: 8am -3pm
• Sat., Dec. 31st - Mon., Jan. 2nd: Closed

Normal hours will resume Tuesday, Jan. 3rd.

Thanksgiving Break Hours

Please be aware that starting Wednesday the library will have shortened/reduced hours this week and weekend due to the Thanksgiving holiday:

• Wed., Nov. 23rd: 7:30am-5pm
• Thurs., Nov. 24th: CLOSED
• Fri., Nov. 25th: CLOSED
• Sat., Nov. 26th: CLOSED
