Open Access is a growing international movement
with events happening across the globe to show
how the Internet throws open the locked doors that once hid knowledge.
Encouraging the unrestricted sharing of research results with everyone, the OA
movement is gaining ever more momentum around the world as research funders and
policy makers put their weight behind it. Many thanks to Dr. Richard Barohn, KUMC’s
Vice Chancellor for Research, and to KU’s Provost and Research Institute
offices for their continued funding support of the KU One University Open
Access fund. To learn more about open access and how to apply for article
publishing funding, please go here.
