New Recycling Program on Campus

Dykes Library is excited to be one of six beta sites on campus to roll out KUMC's new Green Spot recycling system! Library users will be responsible for getting their trash and recyclables in the library to one of three Green Spots, where they will be able to sort their items into four different containers:

• Mixed Recycling
• Paper
• Glass
• Waste to Landfill

These containers will be located in the ground floor lobby area, the ground floor vending area, and on the first floor near the stairwell. They will be clearly labeled with what can or cannot be recycled in each bin.

Join us in the Murphy Lobby on Monday, February 15 from 12-1 to celebrate with a fun kick off event! Join in the scavenger hunt, toss your name in the raffle, and learn more about how you can help! Let's all work together to green our campus and produce less waste!
