Find It! Service Outage

The Dykes Library Find It! service FindIt! buttonand the E-Journal Finder will not be available starting Friday, February 8, 2019 from 7pm for up to 24 hours while our vendor performs system maintenance.

Databases such as ClinicalKey, Access Medicine, and UpToDate will be unaffected. Similarly, you will be able to access full text links in other databases such as CINAHL or GoogleScholar if the content is linked to directly. To access these databases you may browse our Databases List.

If you need to locate articles that depend on these services you may attempt the following workarounds. Be aware that these may not work in all situations.
  • In PubMed, you may use the full text links provided by the publisher or the DOI link. For example: 


  • Search for the article within GoogleScholar or any of our other databases in case they link directly to the full text content.

ClinicalKey article linking unavailable

Find It! links to ClinicalKey articles are currently returning a "resource not found" error shown below. We have notified our vendor and they are working on an update that will resolve this issue.

ClinicalKey articles are still accessible from the Find It! page by first clicking the information icon1 and then clicking the link to Browse Journal2 as shown below.

Click Browse Journal to navigate to article
